Plàcido MO

An itinerary through the city guided by someone’s voice, someone who has lived in its streets. We stop at invisible places, spots without History, but full of un-told life. Re-visit. Resee. Re-focus. Re-build. Throughout the itinerary, small triggers bring to life these invisible stories. Placido Mo is an urban documentary which combines performances with artistic interventions in public spaces.

ME & MAGDALENA

[SMALL PIECE INTERIOR FORMAT]

How could you meet your grandmother who died long before you were born? A play that was born from research about contemporary theatre that explores themes about memory, recollection and fiction. This play makes us rethink about not being able to meet someone. It vindicates the figure of grandmothers, that perhaps didn't fight big wars, or battles that could be easily perceived but about those who remain anonymous. They were the ones who took care of our parents and they only made history and are known within their families. This is a play that talks about the unsaid things and holes every family has.

INFINITUS

[SMALL PIECE INTERIOR FORMAT]

Infinitus explores through paper theatre and pop-up mechanisms what happens when your entire world disappears and you have to delve into the unknown.

It all begins when ground slips from under the feet of the protagonist —the creator herself— and she goes into freefall. She ends up in a place that doesn’t seem to operate under the same logic as her world. She’ll have to discover this new space, which comprises not only the walls, floor and ceiling that appear to enclose it, but also the entire ecosystem of elements contained within it. In this new reality, neither the protagonist nor the space itself will be immune to each other’s influence.

Combining photographs, sounds, colours, volumes, light and paper, and using humour and surrealism as resources to destabilize the known world, Infinitus is a gateway to a new world that can only be entered by taking a leap into the void and leaving behind what you already know.
